The legend of SpiderWoman, specifically of the Pueblo peoples, is that She creates (spun) the world (web) and weaves a web-thread to the top of each being's head. To remember and connect with Her love all we have to do is open the tops of our heads by chanting, prayer, or visualization and She will spin Herself into us.

Spider Woman is seen as one being in Her three aspects: as the Maiden She spins the wheel of life, as the Mother She weaves the web and as the Crone She cuts the thread of time.

The wheel and web are both tranditional symbols of destiny. In most cultural tranditions of antiquity the Goddes is associated with creation, weaving time and circumstances, web and chariot wheels. The Moirae of the Greek trandition are 3 Wisdom Goddesses who weave the fate of humanity. We need to see ourselves as co-weavers or co-creators of our own lives with the Gooddess, an important re-claiming.

Dream catchers are for manifesting the dreams you desire. Typically they are referred to only as novelty gifts to steer away bad dreams. Their strength and purpose is deeper. The spider weaves her web, all she creates (the web) is what will sustain her (what she catches). Weave a web with intention, use prayer, song, chant, incantations spoken from your heart light to bind energy into the web. Ador n the web with blessed herbs and stones.
